Zapatero low cost | Low-cost shoerack -

Buenas tardes a todo el que se aburra y me lea :) Hoy os traigo un DIY bueno, bonito y barato.

Cualquier estudiante que se precie ha vivido en un piso de estudiantes que por ley debe ser: feo, hortera, poco/nada amueblado y pequeño. Al llegar a mi nuevo piso en BCN, mi cuarto me esperaba con un armario MUY pequeño, una cama y una mesa (al menos todo era de IKEA). Conseguí que la ropa entrara en el armario jugando al tetris pero ¿qué se supone que iba a hacer con los zapatos? No sé si lo he dicho ya pero el cuarto es PEQUEÑO, por lo que no era una opción comprar un zapatero y tampoco dejar los zapatos en el suelo (a Pati también le encantan los zapatos…). Tras unos días de investigación por internet y unos cuantos pedidos a Carrefour encontré la solución.

¿Qué necesitamos para este DIY?

Cajas de cartón de envíos de Carrefour. Vale cualquier tipo de caja pero éstas son perfectas (tienen asitas y son gratis).
Papel de regalo. Lo más importante es que no sea de colores claros. El que yo he usado lo podéis encontrar en Primark.
Cinta adhesiva ancha.
Tijeras.
Paciencia y tiempo.

Algunos consejitos que os serán útiles: Doblad el papel en los extremos como aparece en las fotos para que no queden muchas marcas y dobleces y reforzad las esquinas y las asas con cinta adhesiva para que no se rompan por el uso.

Yo creo que el resultado esta genial y sólo se tardan unas horitas. Ánimo que el que no tiene zapatero es porque no quiere.

Hi everyone!! Today I’ll show you a wonderful and cheap DIY.

All students have lived in a student flat, this kind of flats are always awful, without furniture and small. When I arrived to my flat in BCN, my bedroom only had a tiny wardrobe, a desk and a bed, everything from IKEA. I finally could place all my clothes in the wardrobe playing some tetris game, but what about the shoes? The room is really small so buying a shoerack wasn’t an option and putting all the shoes under the bed either (Pati loves shoes too…). After some days looking for a solution on the internet and some Carrefour orders later, I found it.

¿What do we need for this DIY?

Carton boxes from Carrefour orders. You can use other kind of boxes but these are perfect (they have handles and they are free)
Gift wrap. You can find this one in Primark.
Adhesive tape.
Scissors.
Patience and time.

Some useful advice: Fold the paper in both sides of the box as I show in the pictures so we have a better finish and reinforce all corners and handles with adhesive tape so they don’t break with time.

I think that the result is fantastic and it only takes some hours. Come on! If you don’t have a shoerack its because you don’t want to have it.
